What is the point of Article Rewriting Services?

Initially it seemed like a good idea: To take an article which is doing well a google, and get it rewritten and post it on your site...

So I decided to give it a try. Found the article, gave it to a rewriting service provider here. Then I got my article back. Okay, it was indeed well rewritten and all, but even to the naked eye, it seemed obvious that it was taken from the original article. So, when passed it through Copyscape and 1text.com, it did not pass them, and original article was matched.

I really don't feel like posting this article on my site, and I probably won't do it.

What do you think? Is it safe to post rewritten articles? If not, then what is really the point of these services, and why is it so popular?

There are two kinds of rewriter:

1. They only focus on changing words, synonyms, and sentences.

2. The ones who tend to turn old content into a new one, they don't just focus on changing words / synonyms but rather it's like rewriting a whole new content but at the same time making sure it's relevant to the original article.

I guess you got the first one.

Rewriting articles are for web 2s/PBNs, but still you have people doing pretty good ($) with their money sites.
You should try WordAI for example.
It's not that simple if people just want to make money doing this from 1 or 2 sites.
It's a long story, I would suggest you to take a look around the forum and you'll find the answers.

A rewritten article can be used for tier 2, If you want to make it better, instead of changing to alternate words understand the article and try to rewrite with your own sentence.

You buy from here and didn't pass copy-scape have you read their advert.

I am sure all writers on here have to pass Copyscape at minimum.

Please read advert if you fill peed off then contact the user and ask why the article does not pass Copyscape.

I think you are entitled to refund if not given shitlist them.

They're not suppose to earn money for useless junk.

Ask a mod.

This ant correct please report it .

Quality could go either way depending on how it's rewritten. Synonymous words just won't do the job.

Well, I have only tried this service once, so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. i read the article that was rewritten, and it is well written. but I can clearly see that it is a re-write. Initially I thought it would be a brand new article with the same topic, but it wasnt really the case. basically i expected #2 , but got a #1 type
thanks for your feedback, could i ask what PLR stands for?

Thank you, I have tried WordAi in the past, but the articles were not exactly very readable, and they seemed to need some fixing, which was time consuming. I also have serious doubts about article spinning's effectiveness on seo to be honest.

thanks for getting back. Well the issue is that the the article passed copyscape, but it did not pass 1text.com. the supplier did indeed mention that the article passed copyscape, and claimed that it is the industry standard tool. But as i discussed recently on another thread, copyscape alone does not really do a good job. the same article was only 36% unique on 1text.com which matched it to 44% similar the original article I had provided the content re-writer.

thank you. it was well re-written, and it was not exactly synonyms only, and whole sentences were rewritten. I do not think the article was spinned using a tool, but after a second thought, it might be because of the type of the article, as it was a step by step guide, which is probably tricky to re-write uniquely.
Provided that the re-written article was able to pass copyscape then it should be good for you. Otherwise, better not.
thanks, as mentioned above it did pass copyscape, but it did not pass 1text. so the question is even if passes copyscape it is still good enough for google? 1text found it to be only 36% unique.
It helps to outrank competitors
I see that in theory, and that's what I initially thought when I placed the order. but when the original content is matched by a tool, it does raise the question if it wouldn't be matched by google too, and it may be considered plagiarism by google?

I use WordAI and I am more then happy honestly because, I do not expect to get first class unique quality articles.

If you are looking to have them on your money site, you need to either write it or pay other people to write for you.
But, anyway, there are people still making tons of money using just WordAI for example.

It all depends what you are doing and how you can use these articles.

All the best.

I totally understand, where it could be useful, but I was more referring to money sites, and the importance of uniqueness of content.

Get idea from 3 to 4 best article, note their main points and forget all things.

Now you only need to explain your noted points.

I am sure this process works great.

I use them for three purposes:

As a basis for creating a better page. You take the top ranking page for a term, rewrite it, and then go through the other four top ranking pages to find ideas that you can incorporate into your page. You might also elaborate on certain points using your experience or knowledge. Rewriting here allows you to have a basic article ready quickly which you then improve. You can get someone else to do the legwork if you outsource.

As a low cost, topically relevant page to link to a page I want to rank. There might not be many searches for "best crumb catching trays for toasters" but if I'm trying to sell toasters, I might have the top ranking page for that search result rewritten for no other reason than to link to a page that I do want to rank. I might use the rewritten content on a web 2.0 or on my own site. If topical authority comes from covering a subject more thoroughly than a competitor then you need pages that cover fringe topics that aren't going to be read often. There is less value in spending time plannign and writing these pages yourself, so instead you have the top ranking one rewritten for you. It might not be the best content, but if your time is valuable, you should spend it creating the best content that will be read, not fringe pages.

As link targets for guest posts and niche edits. Going back to the example of toasters, it may look suspiscious if you gain 50 links in 3 months to your main money article about which toaster over $500 to buy. But if you have pages that could be referenced, you can build links to them without it looking as suspiscious. For example, I might ask someone to rewrite short content that explains toaster related jargon. 5 links to each of 10 pages looks much less suspiscious. The other benefit to this is that its much easier to acquire links to pages that aren't selling something but instead trying to help.
