Fake Marketplace Reviews

It can be a good idea to check and prohibit the lies also, because in the market place I see many thread where the sellers pretend things like:

"BANK $100 TO $1000 PER DAY WITH OUR SUPER MICRO NICHE SITE SEO INCLUDE FOR ONLY $100" I see many newbie placing all their "starting IM money" in it and be very disappointed with the result when they know the true about NO SEO = NO MONEY no matter the hundred of micro niche you have ordered

Or the seller show their SUPER AWESOME RESULT #1 from nowhere X 25 screenshots whitout any other information, no comp, no monthly search... because yeah I can rank this keyword : "I really love tasty bacon and cheese and boobs and IM income" with only one web2 PA 1

And finally when I see obvious black hat service with tier 1 automated/spun content with 18k tier2 without drip feed and a newbie ask "hi sire I start in IM your service are safe for my money site ?" and the seller said "SIR YES OF COURSE SIR VERY SAFE FOR MONEY SITE SIR"

Now I can afford to buy a service and not expect the result I planned, is not too serious, but I remember when buy $50 was a serious deal, think to the newbie lost their money and after this bad IM experience open a thread like SEO IS DEAD ? MARKET PLACE IS SCAM ?

They guys lose their motivation, make money to sell service is good, but only if everybody are happy in the end

Buy microniche service at $100 for earn $100/days ? I would like to believe this too...

Yes yes yes!!!! About bloody time... I can think of one big "reputable" seller that is going to be having a heart attack right now.. He should take a leaf out of real sellers books and cut the shit now

Yes, I've also had lots of clients coming to me after buying 10-15 sites from such providers and than expect them to rank after investing 50$ in SEO.
This threads/services are clearly misleading and same as virtualbyron said they are hurting the reputation of the entire community.

The marketplace traffic is decreasing day by day and if you continue to allow such SCAMS to run here,it's only going to get worse.
Eventually,nobody will trust us anymore.

Excellent news! The crack down has been long overdue. This along with WizGizmo working his arse off
closing threads of non Jr.VIPs helps the marketplace a ton.

Acotut is right..... Entry levels are low, buzzwords are high, and it does effect everyone. When people think of BHW marketplace they think a cut above the junk you find elsewhere. A lot of local guys come here to source and that culture is great for the community. Quality beats quantity....

Consider this likely scenario and I would like your reply on this.
A version of this is already going on for a long time where malicious A buys Seller B his services through proxy accounts just to leave a nasty review and this is very hard to prove already
but now the opposite can be done to get seller B banned too which would be even more effective

Scenario:
Malicious seller/person/group A buys seller B his services through proxy account d/c/d/e/f/g/etc
Leaves reviews through those accounts with a digital trace that links those accounts together in some or a greater part (using multiple known proxies that overlap/same browsers with same versions/resolutions/etc)
Of course seller B is not going to report these sales
seller B gets reported
Seller B provides his data and paypal transactions

No single proxy account of course will collaborate and confirm seller B his data.

There are some where the situation is crystal clear and you would be able to take direct action, but what about the above?

I also watched some of the threads with "blood stains" on them - but I fail to see the proxy accounts there being banned? If there was a 100% conviction then why have the proxy accounts not also been banned? after all the thread clearly says fake reviews as reason for closedown and ban

No shit, blood should be spilled. I do not see how this person can get away with it, it is pretty much ultra clear to the naked eye.

In your scenario, I can think of a couple of things we could check for more information. It's not a perfect system and if there's reasonable doubt, no-one will be arbitrarily banned. So, yes - it's possible that a very methodical and knowledgeable seller could slip under the radar with a couple of fake reviews. However, this way lets us check out far more false reviews than before without banning genuine members who are targetted or just unlucky.

Just because we've confirmed issues with a seller does not mean every account on the thread has been proven false. As long as you've reported suspect proxy accounts, we will look into it but no-one's getting banned until they've been given a chance to respond.

Should be stopped on a higher priority . Your figures are not even close, I lost my mind when i saw a thread where the seller was claiming to have earned 99,999$ from few 50$ amazon sites.

Probably there will be more reports after this but even if that is not case, alone this thread will for people who want to work on that and to cheat the system will always be in their mind/head that if they do that they may be caught after that.
