Automated Anime Website? Is this possible?

Is it possible to have an automated/auto-generated anime website using wordpress? I currently have an anime website which only has like 7 shows because uploading takes a hell of a long time. Is it possible to have wordpress grab all streams from other anime websites and post them on my WP?

As long as the website/s you grab content from is regularly updated and has the latest anime, it's possible. You should start by buying a wordpress anime database to upload to your site and get more content.

Can't you just setup some kinda autoblog with this? Find decent sources like narutoverse and then use their rss feed or create one manually via some kind of free service.

I tried this using Wp-o-Matic but it doesn't post embedded videos. If anyone knows how to make it post embedded videos too, please PM me

What you're looking for here is either one of two plugins.

PHPMyVideoBlog --> You can find this one in the Downloads section. It's super easy to use. And it works with sites that have Anime/Hentai videos regularly uploaded to them.

Autoblogged --> This one is in the Do Not Share list so you won't find a free version here. But it's worth the price if you have the money. It's a bit more technical than PHPMVB and requires you need to know php in order to get it to embed videos. I'm not going to go into too much detail, but you basically have to create a post template in php that will extract/replace some string from the video url. I've gotten it to work on a couple sites that don't provide embed code in their RSS feed. Definitely not for the beginner though.

Just checked and the mainstream sites don't have categories for anime specifically, but some of the adult sites have anime/hentai feeds.

I guess if you're going for a PG site, you'll have to look a bit harder and probably even go with autoblogged since that is the only one I know of that allows you to set up a post template where you could basically construct the embed codes yourself and use the video IDs from the RSS urls to complete them... But then again, this requires that you have working knowledge of PHP.
