Avoid UndergroundPrivate.com - Warning! Scam!

I have a few OVH servers I use to host my websites but I needed an offshore hosting provider for sites that get many DMCA take-down complaints and OVH bans services if they receive too many. I decided to go with UndergroundPrivate.com and I purchased their Russia SSD III plan. I received the server the next day but noticed that when I moved a brand-new site to the server that it all of sudden would not load. Sometimes it would take up to 20+ seconds to load even when it loaded fine on OVH. Since the site is not live I decided to check why a website, with no traffic, would be taking so long. I looked at the specs of the server and saw that they had only given me 3 CPU and 1 thread per CPU when I ordered a service that should have given me much more power. I logged into the platform and noticed that all of the back-end functions did not work either (reboot, shutdown, reset password etc.)

I put in a support ticket and 3 days later they told me that this was the server I ordered and that they weren't going to fix the back-end controls. I showed them screenshots of what I ordered and what I got. After waiting another few days, I asked for refund. This is when they started to insult me and told me "I can see the exit of the door". I told them I would put in a PayPal dispute if they would not return my money. They then tried to impersonate a fake lawyer and told me that I would need to send all dispute documents to the "lawyer" instead of PayPal trying to trick me.

I was not able to get my refund because PayPal buyer protection does not protect against electronic goods that are shown as "delivered" regardless of the quality of the goods.

I would suggest everyone to skip this hosting provider. I have had hosting with Shinjiru and Abelohost since the issue and both these services work great. I went looking through over reviews for this business and found that the address points to a house. I wish I would have seen it before. THIS IS NOT A REAL BUSINESS

Lol, what did you order ? you didnt show the invoice? why you didnt visit marketplace of bhw and select one of the hosting providers from the marketplace?

That's very disappointing, but the positive is that you discovered this early on. I would definitely consider some of the providers on this marketplace if I were you.

As if a hosting company called "Underground Private" would ever be dodgy ..sounds like a quality establishment to me.

I ordered the server in the first screenshot. I have the invoice in my email somewhere I can send if you want to see it. Also I'm new here. Been here in the past to look at other threads people post but never actually had an account.

Somebody posted a good review on here for it a while back. Guess the service is all luck lol

But the red flags were everywhere, don't you think?

so you created a account on July of 22 and posted without proofs all of those you say..?? there is no single proof of your claims that undergroundprivate is scam.. this is a well known provider years now and personally i use them many years.. i saw that you opened in other forums the same topic with other texts and on some you got banned also you have identified as child molester and spammer and that you are working for a company is this true??? your all actions prove it by opening the topics everywhere.. this is why you wrote it on reddit on hosting and rest webistes? this is many people doing it after they got banned for some reasons or people try to increase wrongly their work on others.. even when you was creating some topics you exposed yourself [email protected] and are you the owner of some websites bustmonkey.com and all others like they told you on reddit and everywhere i have also personally forwared to the authorities of your country about you since child moleters needs to disappear from earth and if you do have any questions you can pm me, and when they was asking you if you are the owner of some websites you just got disappear..shame on you doing such a practices and hope you get sued really for this.. its like i saw for theonionhost.com they called them scam too which owner to me was very polite and all claims are not true.. for everywhere same tacticts by some companies or what ever you want to achieve.. you not even know 2 cores in VPS is 2 HT cores not real cores and for a website like yours 2 cores and 3GB RAM is not suitable you not even know this or you pretend you not know it and show the link for Solusvm you claim and not some cheap screenshots.. shame on you twice.. i just now realized that you write that paypal not covers this of course if there is a scam or something paypal covers you.. imagine you are so less knowledge rage man where you using paypal for donates on your websites with hidden cp and all rest porn you have xD

Man, did you really need to type it all in one line?

Either way, it seems like this company does have some pretty "good" reviews if you give it a search on Google. Not sure whether they are fake or not, but it kinda sucks that you had a bad experience.

I like how their customer agent is called John and their lawyer JohnSon.

it can happen to any company per my opinion.. if you see OVH has many negative reviews but people still use them.. every company has good or bad reviews but this here obviously he posted is not real even he not shows the ip's nothing just blah blah.. he is a rage kid with all of his actions he opened a dupe account to threat what a funny guy!
